Concrete / masonry / stone that is assumed to be surface-treated with paint, plaster or other before 1970, must be assumed to contain environmental toxins such as PCBs, zinc, lead and oil emulsions. Demolition materials containing these substances must be treated as Hazardous Waste, and must be declared and delivered to an approved reception.
For disposing of asphalt we can offer containers as this waste-type needs to be taken to a specialized disposal site. Please contact us before throwing asphalt and we will find the best solution for you.
It is no longer allowed to deliver waste in black or coloured trashbags. If trashbags are to be thrown in iSEKK bags or containers, they need to be transparent.
However, you can deliver most of these waste types yourself free of charge to your local waste disposal site. Contact them for more information.
We also remind you that if you are going to use iSEKK to get rid of clean waste types such as garden waste, stone or wood, you must NOT throw another type of waste in the same iSEKK as a fee will be calculated for mixed waste on the entire bag.
If, contrary to expectations, you do not follow these guidelines, you will have to calculate an additional fee.
Should you have any questions about this, please contact us on telephone 22656100.
